JOAN MARIE SCHMELZER age 71 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday June 24, 2012. A native of Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Genevieve Kopydlowski Lizak. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Eugene Schmelzer Sr. Mrs. Schmelzer is survived by her children, daughter Barbara (Stephan) Nutter of Smyrna, her sons Richard Schmelzer, Joseph Schmelzer both of Murfreesboro, Ronald Schmelzer Jr., of Washington D.C., and her four grandchildren Alexandria, Courtney, Collin, and Allison Etheridge.
