Mrs. Joan Berch Jacobs, age 86, of Antioch, TN passed away Monday, September 26, 2022. She was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Carl J. and Katharina Held Berch. Mrs. Jacobs worked as a bookkeeper for Sunbeam Bakery before retiring from Vietti Foods. Her resilient spirit kept her active around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a faithful member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church.

Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her daughters, Janet Chapman and her husband Sandy, Annette Griffin and her husband Robert, and Tracey DeBoer and her husband Doug, 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Blendowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, W.C. Jacobs, and seven of her siblings.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Friday, September 30, 2022 from 12:00noon until 1:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 30, 2022 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will take place Friday, September 30, 2022 at 3:00pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
