Joan Davis Hayes, age 76 of Smyrna died December 11, 2022. She was a native of  Rutherford Co and grew up in Nashville attended Glencilff High School and Draughon's Business College. Mrs. Hayes was a member of Jerusalem Cumberland Presbyterian, and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. "Buck" Hayes who died in 2020, and her parents, W. Douglas Davis, and  Mary Jane Waller Davis Adkerson; stepfather, Raymond Short Adkerson; precious sister, Gale Adkerson Parish.

She is survived by brother-in-law, Jimmy Parish; nephew, Brett Parish and wife Kristin; step son, Stan Hayes and his wife Jan of Murfreesboro; step grandchildren, Chad Hayes and Meredith Hayes Harris and her husband Mark, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday December 17 ^th 10:00AM until funeral service at 12Noon at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Brent Wills will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. www.woodfinchapel.com
