Joan Lorraine Byrne, age 88 of Murfreesboro died March 14, 2025. She is a native of Brooklyn New York and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Durkin, and Katherine Richter Durkin, her son, Richard Byrne.

She worked as an investment banker in New York and was member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Ms. Byrne is survived by, daughter in law, Ca'Tricia Robinson; sister in love,  Joani Beckwith; grandchild, Freddy Beckwith; brother, Bob Durkin and wife Linda; nephews, Jeff Durkin and Brian Durkin; cousins, Steve and Linda Durkin.
