Jo Ellen Singleton, age 83 of Murfreesboro died Sunday December 22, 2024. She was a native of Eldon, MO and was preceded in death by her parents, George Herbert Catron and Hazel Marie Goddard Catron and brother, Gene Catron.

Mrs. Singleton was of the Baptist faith and was a retired schoolteacher. She loved being an Army wife and the adventures that entailed. She ventured from her small town in Missouri to all parts of the world. She loved Mickey Mouse, Snoopy, and Christmas. Mrs. Singleton was an avid Titans and Predators fan. She loved cheering on her teams. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and Nana. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart! She will be terribly missed by many.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James "Jim" Singleton; children, Jo Lyn McWhorter and husband Devin, and Allen Singleton; grandchildren, Emma Singleton, Samantha McWhorter, Connor McWhorter and Fiancé Leah McLaughlin.
