Jimmy Hinson, age 49 of LaVergne died Wednesday at his home. He was a native of Milan, TN and a member of Barfield Baptist Church. A lifelong Dallas Cowboy fan, he was a graduate of Holloway High School and had worked at Cummings Sign in Murfreesboro and was currently employed by Smith Bros. Car Wash in Smyrna. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Milbern McCartney and paternal grandparents Levi and Julia Hinson. Jimmy is survived by his father James Jim Hinson of LaVergne; his mother Lavonda Hinson; maternal grandmother Mildred McCartney of Bradford, TN; a sister Ragina (Ronnie) Young; brother Ronnie Hinson; niece Brandy Ferrara and great-niece Aubryn Ferrara all of Murfreesboro. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:00 in the Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro with Bro.
