Jimmy Herman, age 56 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Murfreesboro and was preceded in death by his father James V. Herman, a sister Peggy Taylor, his father in law James Hoyte Grizzle, and a brother in law Russell Gayle Grizzle. Survivors include his wife Sandra Grizzle Herman; his mother Jenny Herman of Murfreesboro; a daughter Carla Carlton of Hickman Co; brother Rev. Roger Herman and his wife Elaine of Pensacola, FL; sister Tammy Davis and her husband Ed of Smyrna; four grandchildren; five nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Roger Herman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
