Jimmy Douglas Campbell, age 83 of Murfreesboro died Sunday March 20, 2016. He was a native of Warren County and was a member of Cedar Grove Church of Christ. Mr. Campbell was an Army Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Alvin C. York Medical Center and had worked at Rutherford County Convenience Center at Epps Mill Rd.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife; Rebecca "Becky" Campbell; children, Diane Faulk of Murfreesboro, Neida Thompson and husband Donnie of Murfreesboro, Patricia Gray of Smyrna; grandchildren, Shelly Dye of Murfreesboro, Terry Merritt of Murfreesboro, James Merritt of Mt. Juliet, Daniel Mason of Bell Buckle, Jennifer Dearmon of Murfreesboro, Larry Dority and Erica Ruel of Smyrna; sixteen great- grandchildren; brother, Tilman Campbell of Alexandria; Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Beulah Campbell; daughter, Rhonda Branstutter; son, Harry Turley; sister, Dean Stanley; brothers, Tracey and Jessie Campbell
Funeral service with Military Honors will be 3:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Billy Webb will officiate. Visitation will be 3:00PM to 7:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
