Jimmie Dallas Victory age 80 of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday August 11, 2013. A native of Rutherfod County, he was the son of the late James and Nora Melton Victory. He is also preceded in death by his wife; Helen Tetters Victory, brothers; Bobby Victory, and Raymond Young. Funeral service will be 3:00pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Charles Ray officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Danny Davis, Tony Potts, Tim Lowe, Michael Meeks, Chad Davis, Blake Potts, Matthew Victory, and Christopher Bratcher serving as pallbearers. Honoary pallbearers will be Chase Meeks, Justin Lowe, Steven Victory, James Victory,and Ronnie Davis. Mr. Victory is survived by his children; daughters; Donna Bratcher, Lisa Davis and her husband Danny, Robin Lowe and her husband Tim, son; Daniel James Victory and his wife Brenda, all of Murfreesboro, 14 grandchildren,15 great-grandchildren, sisters; Myrtle Gossett and her husband Leamon, Peggy Young and her husband Jim, and brother Ernest Victory and his wife Bobby Jean all of Murfreesboro. Mr. Victory was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran, deputy sheriff for Rutherford County, and was a retired truck driver with Yellow Freight.
