Mrs. Jimmie Joyce, age 78, Lascassas, TN passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. She was born in Winchester, TN to the late James Richard and Alma Jean Ashby Phillips. Mrs. Joyce was a graduate of Berry College and was a nurse technician for the Alvin C. York Veteran's Medical Center for over 25 years.

Mrs. Joyce is survived by her children, Thomas Joyce and his wife Rene of Murfreesboro, TN, Robin Joyce and his wife Hollie of Murfreesboro, Judy Joyce and her husband Mike Lewis of Lascassas, and Peter Joyce of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren, Jason, T.J., Richard, Ashlie, Brandon, Sienna, and Alex; and nine great-grandchildren, Olivia, LaShaun, Matti, NaKyria, A'Coriana, Kenzie, Ja'Kori, Ethan, and Presley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Alex Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 4:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
