Mr. James "Jim" David Campfield, age 63, of Smryna, TN passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late David J. Campfield and Lucille Ziegel Niehoff. Mr. Campfield proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Most recently, he was a field technician for Wintriss. Mr. Campfield loved baseball and coached it as well.

Mr. Campfield is survived by his children, Sarah Campfield of Smyrna and Matthew Campfield of Danville, IL; grandchildren, Cassidy and Aiden; siblings, Scott Niehoff and Cathy Carvell, Margaret Murphy Vaughn and her husband Steve, and Kathy Niehoff; sisters-in-law, Susie Campfield and Gail Campfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank John Campfield and David Walter Campfield.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 4:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial of his cremated remains will take place Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10:00am at Nashville National Cemetery.
