Jewell Lee Vaughn Light age 77 of Waverly, TN, died Tuesday January 24, 2012. A native of Dickson, County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mandy Cunningham Rayburn. Mrs. Light was also preceded in death by her first husband J.T. Vaughn who died in 1977 and by her second husband Vernon Ray Light who died in 2009. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Bryant who died in 2007. Mrs. Light is survived by a son, Danny Vaughn of the Almaville Community and by a daughter, Barbara J. Gore of Thompsons Station, TN; son in law, Danny Ray Bryant of Hixson, TN: 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Joel Nulty officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Brian King, Colt Kelly, Ricky Fabian, Brad Barnes, Charles and Austin Alexander serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Light was a member of Bascom United Methodist Church and a homemaker. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at WOODFIN FUNERAL CHAPEL, SMYRNA. 459-3254.
