Jewell Nelson Cox, age 91 of Murfreesboro formerly of Wartrace died Wednesday January 18, 2012. He was a native of Ridgley TN, Lake County and was the son of the late, Charley and Nannie Lynn Cox. Mr. Cox was a WWII Navy Veteran and retired Salesman and beef cattle Farmer. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Cox; and son Greg Cox and his wife Wanda of Brentwood and granddaughter, Bethany Cox. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Cox to Alive Hospice at 1718 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203. Funeral service will be 2:30 PM Saturday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Murfreesboro. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with Military Honors.
