JEWEL ALENE MANN DANIEL, age 86 of Murfreesboro died Monday August 10, 2009. She was a native of Carroll County, and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Daniel and her parents, Homer and Lydia Mann. She was the youngest of ten children, and a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ. She had worked as a receptionist and was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Daniel was an avid gardener and was active with several garden clubs. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be 11:00AM Thursday until service time 2:00PM Thursday at Chase Funeral Home in Huntingdon TN. Burial will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery in Carroll County. She is survived by her son, retired Circuit and Senior Judge, J.S. Steve (Lara) Daniel of Murfreesboro; foster daughter, Sandra Cox of Detroit MI; grandchildren, Rachel Klarer and her fiancé, John Emmet Stevenson of Nashville, Meaghan Daniel, Jackson and Samuel Short all of Murfreesboro; one great-grandson, Leyton Stevenson, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Daniel to North Boulevard Church of Christ memorial garden or Tennessee Judicial Conference Foundation.
