Jessie E. Williams, age 71 died Monday, September 1, 2014 at his home. Mr. Williams was a native of Smyrna and was the son of the late Ewing and Sarah Bonds Williams. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dan Watts will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife Nellie Vaughn Williams and a sister Lula Mai Judd of Smyrna. Mr. Williams was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was retired from the Tennessee Army National Guard Military Department. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
