Jessie Ruth Miller, age 83, of LaVergne, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2016. A native of Lebanon, TN, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Nora Bell Garrett Drennon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Robert Miller; along with many brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Brother Carl Scarlett will officiate. Burial will follow in Cherry Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, Eugene Miller and his wife Janie, Richard Miller and his wife Brenda, Eddie Miller and his wife Gwen, Janice Allison and her husband Gerald and Teresa Bolin; brother, Raymond Drennon; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Miller was a charter member of Miracle Baptist Church in LaVergne, TN. She was a retired Order Processor with Ingram Book. She was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Kenneth Miller, Joshua Miller, Trent Allison, Jackie Harrell, James Hudson, and Daniel Bess will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Miller can be made to the Gideon's.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro.
