Jessie Ivey Farley, age 56, of LaVergne, TN, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. A native of Rutherford County, she was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Bob Ivey; son, James Allen Smith; brother, Rex Ivey; and her niece, Jamaica Ivey.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Farley; son, D.J. Martin; mother, Helen Ivey; sister, Tanya Ivey Williams (Martin Cook);  stepchildren, Nicole Lynam, April Closson, and Mark Farley Jr; and grandchildren, Christian Spence, Rylan Martin, Makayla Goodson, and Preston and Austin Lynam, Dylan Farley, Lucas Farley, Tegan Closson, Trent Closson and Tony Closson.

Mrs. Farley was raised in the Church of Christ. She was a hairdresser for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family but especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
