Jessie Mae Adams, age 49 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday. She was the daughter of the late, Burnies and Shirley Hunt Ferguson. Mrs. Adams was of the Baptist faith and a devoted mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Jessica Smith and husband Tarece, Josh Roden; grandchildren, Austin, Taira, Jrue, and Jaidyn; sisters, Brenda Adams, Shirley Guidry and husband Patrick "Cajun", Cathy Parker, Jean North, Shelia Ferguson; brothers, Burnis Ferguson, James Ferguson, and wife Beverly. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Adams. Funeral service will be 3PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel Rev. Dan Watts will officiate.
