Mr. Jesse "Buddy" Winford Pearcy Jr., age 89, of Lascassas, TN passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 1, 2025. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County, TN and a son of the late Jesse "Pie" Pearcy Sr. and Lillian Spain Pearcy. Buddy was a 1955 graduate of Lascassas High School and proudly served his country in the Tennessee National Guard. He was a member of Dunnaway's Chapel United Methodist Church. Buddy was a determined worker. He drove a school bus and owned Pearcy's General Merchandise for 54 years.

Buddy is survived by his son, Steve Pearcy and his wife Barbara; grandson, Jonathan Pearcy and his wife Jordan; great grandchildren, Trey Pearcy and Jacob Oliver Pearcy; and siblings, Billy Pearcy, Betty Jean Bell, and Cathy Arnold. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Myra Faye Pearcy, and siblings, Frances Shipp, Tommy Pearcy, and Patsy Patton.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
