JESSE M. DUNAWAY, age 69 of Lascassas, died April 17, 2010. He was a native of Rutherford County and son of the late Mack and Audrey McDaniel Dunaway. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Carol Renfroe Dunaway who died in 2007. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Frank Lipetri will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He is survived by his son, John (Teena) Nixon of Murfreesboro, daughter, Jessica (Jason) Whitt of Murfreesboro, brother, Billy Dunaway of Lascassas, sisters, Roberta Haynes of Smyrna, Doris Walton of Lascassas, Pat Garrison of Texas, grandchildren, Amanda, JoAnna, and Kimberly Nixon, Brian Carr, Nathan, Jesse, and Chasity Gage, great grandchildren, Dylan, Madison, Camryn, Caitlyn, Molly, and Erin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Dunaway was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church, attended Lascassas School, and was owner of Pheasant Creek Hunting Preserve at Lascassas. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
