JERRY PHILIP TUCKER SR. age 61 of Murfreesboro, died Friday August 3, 2012. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Philas and Waulene Parker Tucker. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra, and brother Larry Tucker. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel with Brother Paul Norwood officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Employees of Murfreesboro Electric will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Tucker is survived by his sons, Jerry Tucker Jr., Bill Tucker both of Murfreesboro, daughter, Vickie (Troy) Lewis, two grandchildren Hunter Lewis, Mason Lewis, and two brothers David (Cathy) Tucker, and Paul (Deana) Tucker all of Murfreesboro. Mr. Tucker attended Walter Hill Church of Christ. He was employed with the Murfreesboro Electric Department for over 40 years. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 pm Monday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel.
