JERRY RANDELL THOMAS age 66, of Walter Hill died Monday September 26, 2011. A native of Wartrace, he was the son of the late Raymond and Beatrice Shelton Thomas. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Jimmy Carver, and Kevin Dye officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife of 48 years Vivian Bozarth Thomas, daughter Cynthia (Scott) Greear of Walter Hill, son James (Cyndi) Thomas of Carthage, step mother Aretha Bingham of Smyrna, his brother Marshall (Stella) Thomas of N.C., two sisters Barbara (Steve) Page of N.C., Carol (Alvin) Peek of Beth Page, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
