Mr. Jerry Lee Porter, age 71, of Smyrna, TN passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. He was born in Edenwald, TN to the late Walter James and Virgnia Olene Montgomery Porter. Mr. Porter worked for Cage DryWall and attended Grace Church in LaVergne, TN.

Mr. Porter is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Porter; two sons, Jerry W. Porter of Smyrna and DeWayne Ralston and his wife Laurie of Portland, TN; two daughters, Terri Griener and her husband Jimmy of Smyrna and Sherri Porter of Smyrna; six grandchildren, Cherise Creviston, Kristen Grisham, Kirk Grisham, Katie Grisham, Shelby Mead, and Shawn Mead; two great-grandchildren, Avah Cline-Guineaux and Aubrey Nechvatal; a brother, Leonard Porter of Old Hickory, TN; and four sisters, Dorothy Fowler of Smyrna, TN, Barbara Baucom and her husband Chris of Smyrna, Betty Blackmore and her husband Tommy of Smyrna, and Linda Reed and her husband David of Joelton, TN.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 6:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. ?
