Jerry Dale Owens, age 51, of Smyrna, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 after a brief illness. He was the son of Jarrett Owens and the late Dorothy Baker Parker. Mr. Owens is survived by his wife of 26 years Amy Brunsman Owens; brothers Terry (Lucy) Owens and Grady (Stacey) Givens both of Fairview; sisters Penny (Mike) Hackney of Dickson and Pam (Grady) Tomlinson of Bon Aqua; step-mother Brenda Owens of Fairview; nephews Jay and Derek Owens of Dickson; niece Keysha Frambrough of Dickson; and life companion, dog, Max. A celebration of life will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna. Bob Bush will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Saturday.
