Jerry Bowman , age 72 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Monday October 2, 2017. A native of Murfreesboro, TN, he was the son of the late William Bransford and Jessie Elizabeth Green Bowman. Mr. Bowman was also preceded in death by a son, Brent Ashley Bowman, brothers, Raymond, Robbie, and Edward Bowman, and sisters, Edna Bowman and Zora Church.

Mr. Bowman is survived by his wife, Darlene Lavely Bowman; daughters, Sherrie Ann Bowman of Dothan, AL, Tracey Sue Carpenter and her husband Greg of Petal, MS,  Lisa Corrine Bowman of Akron, OH, and Pamela Marie Ross Bare and her husband Kenny of Chattanooga, TN;  brothers, Charles Bowman of Murfreesboro, TN, and Lonnie Bowman of Rome, GA; seven grandchildren, two  great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Dean Sisk, and his brother Lonnie Bowman officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Bowman was a member of Belle Aire Baptist Church and was a self-employed household repairman.
