Jennifer Lynn Messick of Murfreesboro, was born September 9, 1971 and was granted her angel wings on May 26, 2013. Jennifer's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quanitity of time in which one lived. She loved nature,listening to birds chirp or watching squirrels scurring was some of her most precious transquility moments. Funeral service will be 11:00am Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother David Ford and Brother Charles Ray officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with Jim Barlow III, Patrick Barlow, Robert Barlow, Jerry Barlow, Steve Rowland, and Adam Rowland serving as pallbearers. Ms. Messick leaves behind her loving parents, Michael and Shirley Barlow Messick of Murfreesboro,her best friend and companion Mike Fusting, maternal grandmother Helen Armstrong Messick of Summerville, S.C.,many Aunts,Uncles, Cousins, and her beloved dog "Blondie". She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Jim and Myrtle Barlow, and paternal grandfather G.N. Messick. Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
