Jeffery Roden, age 44 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was born and raised in Murfreesboro, a son of Dorothy Lamb Roden and the late Ben Floyd Roden, Sr. He was also preceded by his brother Ben Floyd Roden, Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Nancy Roden; stepdaughters, Beth and Jamie Davis; sisters Rita McClure, Elber Roden, Teresa Brewer and her husband Jerry, Ellen Roden, Virginia Hams and her husband Gregg; a brother William Roden and his wife Victoria; special aunt Beulah McCoy, all of Murfreesboro; several nieces, nephews and other loving family. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Wade officiating.
