JEANNE GILMORE WEBB, age 89 of Murfreesboro, died, Saturday June 19, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Webb was the wife of the late Kirk Webb who died in 1969. Funeral service will be at 11:00am Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Phillip Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Mrs. Webb was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T.D. Gilmore of Bell Buckle, TN, and is survived by her grandson, John Harney and his wife Debbie of Murfreesboro, granddaughter, Susan Harney of Skokie, IL, two great grandchildren, Jaclyn Williams of Shelbyville, and Justin Harney of Murfreesboro, one great great granddaughter, London Williams. Mrs. Webb graduated from MTSU in 1941. For more than 35 years, she was employed by the University of Tennessee Extension Service as a home demonstration agent in Coffee County where she was instrumental in forming the Foothills Craft Association and Craft Shop in Manchester, TN. She was a member and volunteer of Oaklands Association, and had served as a volunteer at Linebaugh Library. Memorials may be made to Oaklands Association or Linebaugh Library in memory of Mrs. Webb.
