JEANETTE BROOKS JOHNSTON age 73 of Smyrna, TN, died Tuesday January 19, 2010. A native of Smith County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Prentice Alexander Brooks and Eula Kemp Brooks Wilson Jenkins.She was also preceded in death by a son, Lance Johnston. Mrs. Johnston is survived by daughters, Sheila Zilly of Murfreesboro, TN and Terry Jouett of Pampa, TX; brother, Troy Brooks of Old Hickory, TN; eight grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Mapleview Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Johnston was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and a homemaker.
