JEAN BELK WILSON, age 87, of Murfreesboro, Tn. died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Baptist Hospital. She was born in Kosciusko, Miss. and was the daughter of the late Lloyd & Estelle Burns Belk. She was married to the late William Wilson, Jr. who died in 2008 after 63 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Palmer and her husband, Jerry of Murfreesboro; son, Richard Wilson and his wife, Janis of Schaumburg, Illinois; sisters, Mildred McCullough, Murfreesboro; Elizabeth Belk, Murfreesboro; Juanita Tollison, Euphoria, Miss.; Marilyn Gaston, Tupelo, Miss; Dorothy Hoffman, Liberty, Texas; brothers, Harold Belk and Fred Belk of Greenwood, Miss.; grandchildren, Jeffrey Wilson, Kristen Wilson, Deborah Fawkes and her husband, Lucas; great grandchild, Emerson Fawkes. Funeral services 11 am Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, Tn. with Rev. Craig Martindale officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 5-8 pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Reid.
