Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Haddock, age 83, of Smyrna, TN passed away Monday, April 11, 2016. She was born in Florence, AL to the late John Lee and Sarah Jane Eaton Cody. Mrs. Haddock owned her own ceramics shop in Florence, AL before moving to Smyrna where she worked for Genesco. She was best known for her love of her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ.

Mrs. Haddock is survived by two sons, Duane Haddock of Smyrna and Dwight Haddock and his wife Jennifer of Lebanon, TN; daughter, Deloris Lee and her husband Philip of Nolensville, TN; sister, Betty Gee of McNairy County, TN; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl T. Haddock, and four sisters, Ada Mae, Katherine, Mary Lee, and Sarah.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00am at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Minister Tim Lavender will officiate. Burial will take place in Mapleview Cemetery.
