Jean Parker Espy, age 86, of Murfreesboro passed away on February 23, 2015. She was a native of the Halls Hill Community and the daughter of the late Doc W. and Olevia Davis Parker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Espy, son, Russell Wayne Davenport, brother, Wylie D. "Tom" Parker. Funeral Service will be 1:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Espy is survived by her brothers, Joe Parker and his wife Mary of Cleveland, Dan Parker and his wife Mina of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Rusty Davenport, Shelley (Alan) Hayes, Wendy (Tony) Faulk, 5 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Espy was a 1951 graduate of Christiana High School and retired from Kroger after 26 years of service.
