J.E. Gray, age 79, of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. A native of Caldwell County, Kentucky he was the son of the late Lewis and Gertie Oliver Gray. He is also preceded in death by his son, Jason Gray and two brothers, Cash Gray and Lewis Boyd Gray. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Don Herron will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Gray is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce A. Rogers Gray; sons and daughter in law, Joe Gray of Smyrna and Randy and Lisa Gray of Murfreesboro; daughter in law, Angie Roska of Monticello, WI; brother, Richard Gray of Princeton, KY; seven grandchildren, Dusty Gray, Shelby Gray, Justin Lewis, Zack Gray, Kayla Gray, Joshua Gray and Ethan Gray; three great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gray was a member of River Rock Baptist Church and was a retired supervisor with Cummings Sign. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimers Association. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 893-5151
