Mr. JC Meeks, age 74, of Smyrna, TN passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was born in Murfreesboro, TN to the late WL and Margaret Manus Meeks. Mr. Meeks proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was involved with the Patriot Guard and Rolling Thunder in honoring his fellow veterans. Mr. Meeks enjoyed riding his Honda Gold Wing throughout the hills of middle Tennessee. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Meeks is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lu-Ann Gale Meeks; niece and nephews, Lee Meeks and his wife Danette, Chris Meeks and his wife Angie, Tony Meeks and his wife Jenny, Michael Meeks, Cindy Westberry, and Walter Westberry; and step children, Bobby Covington and his wife Amy, Lea-Ann Covington, Steve Covington and his wife Marcia, and Chris Covington and his wife Nancy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Linda Westberry, Jerry Meeks, Wesley Meeks, and Richard Meeks.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 12:00noon until 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
