Mr. Anthony "Jayden" Letrel Barksdale, age 19, of Smyrna, TN passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was born in Hermitage, TN to Dennis D. Barksdale and Emily K. Flippo.

Jayden is survived by his parents, Dennis D. Barksdale and Emily K. Flippo; siblings, Dennis D. Barksdale, Jr., Khyi Akins, Devon Lee, Arianna Barksdale, Aniya March, Amera Flippo, Aniesa Flippo, and Neveah Barksdale; daughter, Paisley Barksdale and her mother, Samarah Ward; grandparents, Janice Ford, Dennis Barksdale and his wife Deborah, Arhlene Young and Devon Carter; godmother, Sarah Thomason; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Kaleb Barksdale; grandmother, Melissia Thomason; and grandfather, Jimmy Flippo.

Memorial donations may be made to Woodfin Memorial Chapel to assist the family with funeral services.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 12:00noon until 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
