Mr. Jason "Jay" Prentice Eagan, age 49, of Smryna, TN passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024. He was born in Mobile, AL to Larry and Beth Cockrell Eagan. Jay graduated from UTC and worked in the logistics and trucking industry. Jay was a selfless loving father who cherished his daughter and was known for his sense of humor. He was an avid lover of music who was talented in playing guitar and drums.

Jay is survived by his mother, Beth Eagan; daughter, Emily Eagan; sister, Amy Akers; niece and nephew, Elizabeth Akers and Isaac Akers; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Eagan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
