Janis Carol Easom, age 65 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died Monday, May 9, 2022, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Bryant, Arkansas and a daughter of the late Garland Wayne and Norma Jean Spann Rea.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Jerry Easom; sons, Jerry Allen Easom and wife Stephanie of Murfreesboro, David Wayne Easom and wife Sara of Nashville; brothers, Gary Wayne Rea and wife Vickie of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and James Mason Rea and wife Shari of Sheridan, Arkansas; a sister, Vicki Lynn Davis and husband, Jim of Lonoke, Arkansas; grandchildren, Hunter, Cale and Elli; two great grandchildren, Presley and Eli; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family and friends.

Janis retired as a licensed practical nurse and was of the Baptist faith.
