JANIE BURKHALTER WOMACK, age 77, of Murfreesboro, Tn. died Saturday at St. Thomas Hospital. She was born in Springfield, Tn. and was the daughter of the late John & Emma Foster Burkhalter. She is survived by her sons; Barry (Carolyn) Womack, Columbia, Tn. and Brian (Gina) Womack, Smyrna; daughter, Lisa Cahoon, Murfreesboro; brother, Bob Burkhalter, New Smyrna Beach , Fla; sisters, Lavinia Burkhalter Felts, Springfield, Tn, Glenhale Burkhalter Smid, Brownsville, Texas; grandchildren, Courtney Cahoon, Keli Cahoon; Cory Womack, Carly Womack, Brandon Womack and Cameron Womack. Graveside services 1 pm Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery, Springfield, Tn. with Melvin Felts officiating. Visitation with the family 4-8 pm Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Mrs. Womack was a member of Stones River Baptist Church and a retired Medical Records Clerk. She was preceded in death by her brother, J. C.
