Janice Leah Strong, age 74 of Murfreesboro died at home Saturday July 11, 2015. She was a native of Glen Aubrey, NY and was Administrative Assistant for Women Studies at MTSU. She was a 1990 graduate of MTSU. Mrs. Strong is survived by her children; Jody Strong, Toni Strong, Joel Strong and wife Pat, Tami Strong and companion Brian Hinckley all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Lexi, Kaliesha, Skylar and great-grandchild, Hunter; sister, JoAnn Costley of New York. Mrs. Strong is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Strong who died in 2002, her parents, Lynn and Edith Frank Spangenburg; and two brothers, Harry and Sonny Spangenburg.
