Janice Kay Bowen, age 66, of Smyrna, Tn. died November 26, 2008 at her home. She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee. She is survived by her son, Bradley S. Bowen of Smyrna, Tn.; mother, Madeline Bailey, of Johnson City, Tn. and her brother, Mike Bailey of Johnson City, Tn. Graveside services 11 am Tuesday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Milton Hicks officiating. Mrs. Bowen was married to the late Russell Veston Bowen who died on April 6, 2008 and was preceded in death by her father, Harold Bailey. She was a former employee of Cummings Engine Company.
