Janice Ann Adcock, age 50 of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Janice was born in Chateauroux, France and was a lifelong resident of Smyrna. She graduated from Smyrna High School in 1982 and earned a BS. Degree in Environmental Science from MTSU. Janice was a lover of all things in nature and was an avid gardener. She was also a lover of animals. Janice is survived by her husband of 15 years, Jeff Adcock; her brother, Brian Nock and his wife, Janet, of Franklin; sister, Donna Kumar, of Nashville; and her parents, Joseph A. and Betty Porter Nock of Smyrna. She was preceded in death by her niece Skylar Nock and her beloved Cairn Terrier, Missy.
