Janet Denise Pace, age 60, of Smyrna passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, September 25, 2017 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born at Edwards Air Force Base in California to Helen and John Pace.

She is preceded in death by her brother, John Derrick Pace, her father, John Davis Pace, her grandmother, Maude Lindsey.

Janet is survived by her mother, Helen Ruth Pace; her daughter, Capri Luna and her husband, Jorge Luna; her grandson, Carson Luna; and many special friends.

Janet loved to travel and visit new places. She worked as a travel agent and at Lowes for many years. She made many friends throughout her life. Janet will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.

Funeral service will be 4:00pm Friday, September 29, 2017 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Rev. Marshall Gupton will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
