Janet Renee Garrett, age 50, died Sunday, June 26, 2011. A native of Asheville, N.C. she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eula Mae Smith Clark. She is also preceded in death by her son, Marvin Dougie Bates. A memorial service will be held Friday at 7:00 PM at Old Jefferson Church of Christ in Smyrna, TN.
