Jane Travis Watson, of Murfreesboro, died Friday August 20, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Watson was a native of Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late Jessie and Lula White Travis. She is also preceded in death by her husband Albert Watson who died in 1991 and five brothers, Roy, Pete, Floyd, Jess, and Oscar Travis. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Charles Mullins will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Watson is survived by a sister, Annie Johnson of Murfreesboro; a nephew, Fred Johnson of Murfreesboro; nieces, Beverly Clark of Murfreesboro, June Luster of Sewickley, PA and Barbara McFadden of Jackson, MI. Mrs. Watson was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ. She was a former employee of Norris Hosiery Mill and retired from G.E. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
