Jane Carol Turner

Jane Carol Turner, age 68 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Alive Hospice, Murfreesboro. She was a native of Stuttgart, Arkansas and was a daughter of the late Frank William Essex and Betty Ann Wittman Essex. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Danny Turner, and her brother-in-law, Jim Bimson.

Survivors include her siblings, David Essex and wife Dorothy, Mike Essex and wife Marie, Beth Bimson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and a 1980 graduate of MTSU. She retired as an underwriter from State Farm after over 28 years of service. She had a special love for all dogs, and spending time at Center Hill Lake with her precious friends

Visitation with the Turner family will be at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services beginning at 12:00 pm with Dr. Jim Clardy officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
