JAMES JIM ADAMS WILSON SR. age 60 of Lavergne, died Sunday September 4, 2011. A native of Davidson County, he was the son of the late John A. and Ann Adams Wilson Sr. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Darrell Ward officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 32 years Corinne Drennan Wilson, his children, son Jim (Jill) Wilson Jr. of Fairview, daughter Lori (Damon) Lawton of Lavergne, son Chase Wilson of Smyrna, and daughter Kelly Wilson of Lavergne, seven grandchildren, his sisters Peggy (Jack) Clark and Patricia (Dalon) Cope both of Old Hickory, and his brothers John (Carolyn) Wilson Jr. of Old Hickory, and Larry (Carolyn) Wilson of Brentwood. He was preceded in death by a sister Bettye Nichols. Visitation will be 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.
