JAMES LARRY WILSON, age 72 of Smyrna died Wednesday December 16, 2009. He was a native of Lawrence County, and was the son of the late, George and Viola Golden Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a Deacon at Smyrna Church of Christ and was retired from Lucent Technologies. He was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Fleming Wilson; sons, Greg Wilson and his wife Lucinda of Guntersville Alabama, Mike Wilson and his wife Lori Wilson of Florence Alabama; grandchildren, Laura, and David Wilson, Josh Wilson and his wife Micah, Morgan Wilson and Jake Russell; great-grandson, Wyatt Wilson; sisters, Jean Parker and her husband Charles of Asheville, NC, Valorie Fortenberry of Panama City, Florida, Rebecca Beckham of Murfreesboro; brother, Elmon and his wife, Claudia Wilson of Maysville, GA. Visitation will be 11:00AM till 2:00PM Saturday at Smyrna Church of Christ. Memorial service will be 2:00PM Saturday at Smyrna Church of Christ with Bro. Tim Lavender officiating.
