James Robert Walden age 71 of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday July 31, 2015. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Looney and Mary Ellen Holder Walden. Funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Ken Elkins officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mr. Walden is survived by his wife of 44 years, Corrine Walden, their little dog Lucy Mae Walden, his children; son, Jamie Walden and his wife Rita of Lascassas, daughters; Yvonne McKinney and her husband Howard of Walter Hill, Tina Robinson of Murfreesboro, Christy Mangrum of Woodbury, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister; Elayne (Robert) Walden of Lebanon, and his brother; Doris Walden and his wife Jeanne of Alaska.
