James Terrell Tomlin, age 69 of Beechgrove died Monday September 2, 2024. He was a native of Rutherford Co. and was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Tomlin; parents, Walker Wade Tomlin, Alene Steele Tomlin; brothers,   Roger Tomlin, Tim Tomlin, Steve Tomlin.

Mr. Tomlin had worked in construction and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his children, Jeffery Tomlin, Michael Taylor and wife Joanie, Jody Taylor, Stacey Bills and husband Daniel, Christina Taylor;   15 Grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Tomlin and wife Becky; sister, Belinda McGriff.

Visitation will be 2:00PM to 6:00PM Thursday September 5, 2024. Funeral service at 6:00PM Thursday all at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Graveside service 9:30AM Friday September 6, 2024, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. www.woodfinchapel.com
