James Herbert Russell, age 66 of Smyrna died Thursday January 11, 2024. He was native of Nashville and was preceded in death by his father, John Thomas Russell, Sr., brothers, John Thomas Russell, Jr, Mark Anthony Russell.

Mr. Russell had worked in construction most of his life.

He is survived by his sons, James Allen Russell, and Kenny Russell and Jennifer; grandchildren, Elijah Russell and wife Josie, Isaiah Russell, Aubrey Russell, Ashley Russell, Sean Madeline and wife Rachel, Dylan Russell, Malachi Russell, Rylee Russell, Jasmine Amolsch, Jordan Kemp, Lincoln Kemp, and Michael Davis; mother, Dorothy Louise Fights; brothers, Ricky Russell, Tim Russell and wife Paula, Ron Russell and wife Lisa, Monty Russell; sister; Sandra Haberle and husband Pete.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Woodfin Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
